Turkey Burgers with Boursin Topping
This recipe is from Rachael Ray Magazine. A turkey burger
doesn't sound that great but man these were so good with
the Boursin cheese, it gets all melty and delicious.
I served it with good ole frozen french fries.
Ingrediants
1 lb ground turkey
4 green onions- chopped
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Olive Oil
1- 5.2 oz package Garlic and Fine Herb cheese
1/4 cup mix of dill, chives, parsley-chopped
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 clove garlic-chopped
Dash of hot sauce
Seasame buns
Butter-softened
Lettuce
Tomatoes-sliced
Directions
Place meat in a medium bowl and season with salt and pepper. Mix in green onions, mustard, and Worcestershire. Form into 4 patties. Grill or pan fry (which ever your preference) until cooked through about 10-12 minutes. Butter the buns and grill or pan fry (which ever way of cooking you decided on) Meanwhile in a small bowl mix the Boursin, herbs, lemon zest & juice, garlic and the hot sauce. Serve the patties on the buns with lettuce, tomato and Boursin cheese.
