Roast Beef Sandwiches
Roast Beef Sandwiches
I've been making these sandwiches forever. I'm not even sure where I got the recipe but they are so easy and so flavorful.
Ingredients
1 lb rare deli roast beef (buy the good brand)
3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cans french onion soup
Sliced provolone cheese
Sesame hoagie buns
Banana peppers
Directions
In a medium sauce pan add the roast beef, french onion soup, Worcestershire sauce and one of the soup cans full of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for at least 15 minutes. Meanwhile turn oven to broiler. Line the hoagie buns with the sliced cheese to cover the inside of the bun, create a barrier so that when you put the meat on the bun doesn't get super soggy. Broil for a few minutes until melted. Remove the buns from the oven and add the beef to the bun making sure to let excess juice drip out. Top with banana peppers and enjoy!
