Everything Seasoning Bread
My mom sent me this recipe.
I really had no idea homemade bread could be
so easy. I mixed this up my stand up mixer with
the bread attachment the night before, let it rise overnight
and baked the next day.
Ingredients
3 Cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon active dry yeast
1 1/2 cup warm water (90-100 degrees)
5 Tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning
Directions
In a stand mixer or a large bowl mix together the flour, salt, 3 tablespoons of the seasoning and yeast. Add water to the bowl and mix with the mixer or your hands until full incorporated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let sit on your counter to rise for 13-18 hours.
When ready to bake the bread preheat your oven to 450 degrees. While your oven preheats, preheat your oven safe dutch oven or large pot and lid. While the oven and your pot preheats finish the dough by dusting your counter with flour. Remove the dough from the bowl and set on the flour. Knead a few times to incorporate the flour. Using a knife slice 3 slits into the top of the dough. Move the dough to the preheated pot. Brush the top of the dough with a little bit of water. Sprinkle with remaining seasoning. Cover the pot with the lid and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes remove the lid and return to oven for 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.
