Sheet Pan Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
Sheet Pan Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
I always say I'm not a sweets person. But honestly, I just don't like cakes/cupcakes or donuts. I love candy and most other baked goods. Scones and chocolate chip cookies are my favorite, most other baked goods I can have one bite of and be okay with not eating more. But I love baking! This recipe is from a lady I use to work with and it's so delicious. A nice soft cookie without the hassle of actually making cookies and will feed a crowd.
Ingredients
1 cup butter-softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1-8oz package cream cheese-softened
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 bag mini chocolate chips
Baking Spray (Like Pam)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a large baking sheet with baking spray, I used a 11x17, smaller is okay just bake longer or use two smaller pans. Beat together in a mixer the butter and cream cheese until blended. Add vanilla and eggs and beat again until combined. Next, add flour, baking soda and salt. Once combined stir in the chocolate chips. The dough will be stickier than normal cookie dough. Dollop the dough on the baking sheet. Spray your hands with the baking spray and press the dough into the baking sheet. Baking for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
