Brownie M&M Cookies

Brownie M&M Cookies

These are amazing. They are gooey in the middle
and crispy on the edges. It's the perfect brownie bite in
a cookie form. I found this recipe on pinterest and changed up a few things.

Ingredients
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup mini m&m's

Directions
Melt chocolate chips and butter in microwave in a microwave safe bowl. Stir every 30 seconds until well combined and completely melted. Remove and set aside.
In a mixer beat the eggs, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, baking powder and salt on high for 5 minutes. This is key to make the batter thick and creamy. Reduce to low and mix the melted chocolate/butter mixture in slowly. Stir in flour and cocoa powder until combined. Add mini m&ms. Cover the batter and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop about 1.5-2 tablespoons of dough on to the cookie sheet. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes. The cookie will still look wet in the middle. Don't over bake or the cookies won't be fudgy. Let sit on the cookie sheet for about 3-5 minutes and then transfer cookies to a cooling rack.
